The goal of Elite MMA and Fitness Centre Cape Town is to help our members and students develop, grow and improve both physically and mentally through progression in martial arts and fitness training. We strive to accomplish this by offering the highest quality of innovative, enjoyable martial arts and fitness instruction in a fun, clean, safe and positive environment. Our aim is to encourage individuals and families to lead healthier lifestyles, and to assist them in reaching their martial arts and fitness-related goals
Elite MMA's 2022 Championship Highlights
In 2022, Elite MMA's young talents showcased exceptional skill and dedication, earning numerous medals across various championships:
Cape Town Championships (Jan 2022): 14 participants achieved 13 Gold, 12 Silver, 1 Bronze.
Western Cape Championships (Mar 2022): 11 participants secured 8 Gold, 12 Silver, 4 Bronze.
ShorinJi Development Comp (April 2022): 12 participants achieved an impressive 16 Gold, 6 Silver, 1 Bronze.
Vibrant Cup Winter Challenge (June 2022): 11 participants earned 12 Gold, 1 Silver.
South African Champs (May 2022) (Competitors from all SA provinces): 14 participants earned Western Cape Provincial Colours and achieved 8 Gold, 6 Silver, 6 Bronze.
African Championships (Aug 2022) (Competitors from 14 African countries): 7 participants achieved 5 Gold, 6 Silver, 1 Bronze (Therefore celebrating 5 African champions).
Junior World Championships (Oct 2022) (Competitors from 63 nations worldwide): 7 participants earned 4 National SA Colours, 3 Presidents SA Colours and achieved 1 Gold, 2 Bronze (Therefore boasting 1 World Champion).
Elite MMA's remarkable achievements extend beyond the ring, with our club winning various awards at the Annual Cape Town Kickboxing Awards. These accolades include Club of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Coach of the Year, Most Improved Fighter of the Year, Cadet Sportsman of the Year, Cadet Sportswoman of the Year, Junior Sportsman of the Year, and Best Tatami Fighter of the Year.

CTKA Champs (Feb 2023): 11 Participants achieved 18 Gold, 6 Silver.
Vibrant Cup (Mar 2023): 8 Participants achieved 12 Gold, 4 Silver.
WC Kickboxing Champs (Mar 2023): 10 Participants achieved 12 Gold, 7 Silver, 1 Bronze.
SAKA SA Kickboxing Champs (Apr 2023): 9 Participants earned Western Cape Provincial colours and achieved 8 Gold, 8 Silver, 1 Bronze.
Vibrant Winter Cup (Jun 2023): 10 Participants achieved 11 Gold, 8 Silver.
Karoo Open and the Battle Of Continents in Oudtshoorn (Jun 2023): 3 Participants achieved 5 Gold, 4 Silver.
SA vs Canada Open (Jul 2023): 8 Participants achieved 11 Gold, 7 Silver.
Shorin Gi (Jul 2023): 4 Participants achieved 4 Gold, 3 Silver.
CTKA Champs (Oct 2023): 15 Participants: 15 achieved 13 Gold, 10 Silver, 1 Bronze. These fighters were selected for the Cape Town District team for 2024.

Various nominations at the Cape Town Sports Council awards and Western Cape Sports Council awards.
Winner of the School Sportswoman of the Year 2023 at the Cape Town Sport Council awards.
Multiple students received awards at their respective schools for kickboxing achievements, including sports colours and half colours.
